It is said to be a sad event when someone's death was not said well, but Jesus took incarnation for the sins of the human race and gave his life on the cross for the sins of the human race, so it is a happy thing that Jesus gave his life for the human race so it is called good Friday. क्योंकि संसार में कई अवतार आए, कई अवतार गए लेकिन कोई उद्धार नहीं कर सका, कोई किसी को मारने आया और कोई पापों का प्रायश्चित करने आया लेकिन मनुष्य को पाप से कोई नहीं बचा सका। क्योंकि शास्त्रों में लिखा है कि मनुष्य को पाप से मुक्त करने के लिए स्वयं का बलिदान करना चाहिए। क्योंकि जीसस के जीवन में कोई पाप नहीं था, शास्त्रों में लिखा है कि बिना लहू के पाप नहीं धुल सकता। क्योंकि यीशु ने मानव जाति को पाप से बचाने के लिए खुद को क्रूस पर बलिदान कर दिया। इसे एक दुखद घटना कहा जाता है जब किसी की मृत्यु को अच्छा नहीं कहा जाता था, लेकिन यीशु ने मानव जाति के पापों के लिए अवतार लिया और मानव जाति के पापों के लिए क्रूस पर अपना जीवन दे दिया, इसलिए यह एक खुशी की बात है कि यीशु मानव जाति के लिए अपनी जान दे दी इसलिए इसे गुड फ्राइडे कहा जाता है। କାରଣ ଦୁନିଆରେ ଅନେକ ଅବତାର ଆସିଲେ ଅନେକ ଅବତାର ଚାଲିଗଲେ କିନ୍ତୁ କେହି ମୁକ୍ତି ଦେଇପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ, କିଏ କାହାକୁ ମାରିବାକୁ ଆସିଲେ ତ ଆଉ କିଏ ପାପର ପ୍ରାୟଶ୍ଚିତ ଦେବାକୁ ଆସିଲେ କିନ୍ତୁ ମଣିଷକୁ କେହିବି ପାପରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ମଣିଷକୁ ପାପରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ହେଲେ ନିଜକୁ ବଳିଦାନ କରିବକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ ଏହା ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ଲେଖାଯାଏ, ଯିଏ ଏହି ବଳିଦେବ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ କୌଣସି ପାପ ନ ଥିବାର ଆବଶ୍ୟକ। କାରଣ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଜୀବନରେ କୌଣସି ପାପ ନ ଥିଲା , ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ଏହା ଲେଖାଯାଏ ରକ୍ତପାତ ବିନା ପାପ ମୋଚନ ହୁଏନି। କାରଣ ଯୀଶୁ ମାନବ ଜାତିକୁ ପାପରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ କୃଶରେ ଆପଣା ବଳିଦେଲେ। କାହାର ମରଣରେ କେବ ଶୁଭ କୁହାଗଲା ନାହିଁ ଏହା ଏକ ଦୁଃଖ ଦାୟକ ଘଟଣା ବୁଲି କୁହାଯାଏ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ମାନବ ଜାତିର ପାପ ପାଇଁ ଅବତାର ନେଇ ଅସିଲେ ଏବଂ ମାନବ ଜାତିର ପାପ ଆପଣା ଜୀବନ କୃଶରେ ଜୀବନ ଦେଲେ, ତେଣୁ ଏହା ଏକ ଖୁସିର ବିଷୟ ଯେ ଯୀଶୁ ମାନବ ଜାତି ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାଣ ଦେଲେ ତେଣୁ good Friday କୁହାଯାଏ।
